Position: Learning & Development Specialist (Global Law Firm)

Location: Manhattan, NY (Hybrid)

Comp Package: Base salary to $120K, Paid Overtime, Full Benefits, Tuition Reimbursement, Bonus, 401K+, etc.

Responsibilities for Learning & Development Specialist:

  • Partner with stakeholders to assess employee development needs
  • Design tailored training programs to enhance skills and performance
  • Utilize various formats (Web-based, blended learning, job aids, etc.) to deliver training solutions
  • Work with subject matter experts to create training materials, outlines, manuals, and assessments
  • Conduct training sessions using diverse formats (lecture, simulations, discussions, video-based)
  • Train managers and team leads to facilitate learning within their departments
  • Conduct needs assessments to identify knowledge gaps and improvement areas
  • Develop and analyze training evaluation metrics to measure program success

Qualifications for Learning & Development Specialist:

  • 5+ years of experience in learning and development, preferably within legal or professional services
  • Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree in Organizational Leadership or related field preferred
  • Expertise in designing and delivering training programs across technical and soft skills
  • Strong facilitation and presentation skills for diverse audiences
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
  • Proven ability to collaborate across all levels of an organization
  • Experience using learning design tools such as Articulate Storyline, Captivate, and Adobe Creative Suite
